SEED Projects’ flagship initiative for community-based rural development. MRN connects a growing network of farmers, artisans, and small-scale producers across Malta and Gozo, empowering them through sustainable tourism, product development, and skills training. By turning rural heritage into livelihood opportunities, Merill helps preserve traditions while creating new income streams for local communities. Through curated experiences, CSR activities, and direct support, MRN strengthens rural resilience and fosters authentic connections between visitors and hosts.
Rooted in a commitment to cultural and social empowerment, this initiative promotes music and the performing arts as vital tools for community engagement and creative expression. It supports Maltese musicians and performers by offering professional representation, opportunities for growth, and platforms to showcase their work across diverse events. Beyond entertainment, it fosters cultural dialogue, strengthens the arts ecosystem, and contributes to a vibrant, inclusive cultural identity for Malta.
A collaborative venture between SEED Projects and Exclusively Malta Luxury Travel, this initiative merges community-based values with professional tourism logistics. It curates premium rural experiences that celebrate Malta’s agricultural, artisanal, cultural, and gastronomic heritage, placing a strong emphasis on sustainability, authenticity, and high service standards. As the go-to service provider for various Destination Management Companies (DMCs), it plays a vital role in raising the bar for rural tourism in Malta. Through close co-creation with local hosts and industry partners, it supports the professionalisation of experiential tourism while championing Malta’s rich culinary identity and rural landscapes.
Growing Together
SEED Projects collaborates with a carefully chosen network of NGOs, social enterprises, and institutional partners whose values align with our own. We believe that meaningful impact comes from deep alignment - not just in goals, but in principles and purpose. That’s why we selectively onboard partners who share our commitment to community empowerment, sustainability, and ethical project delivery. Whether supporting EU-funded initiatives, strengthening governance structures, or co-developing social impact strategies, our role is not transactional, it’s transformative. Through this values-first approach, we ensure that every collaboration is built on trust, mutual respect, and a shared vision for long-term change. Simply put, we grow together - or not at all.
Social Responsibility
We work closely with the MaYA Foundation (Malta Youth in Agriculture) to foster the next generation of rural changemakers. Together, we design and implement Rural CSR projects that connect private sector actors with community needs - from sustainability-focused team-building events to regenerative farming initiatives. Through MaYA’s networks and SEED’s logistical expertise, we translate youth-led ideas into structured, fundable activities that have real-world impact. It’s not just sponsorship, it’s long-term investment in social responsibility.
Collaboration & Innovation
SEED is an active partner in EU-funded initiatives across multiple streams, including Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, and Interreg. Our strength lies in transforming concepts into viable project applications and delivering real results through strong coordination, research design, and community engagement. From circular economy pilots to education and capacity-building projects, we help partners navigate EU funding complexities while staying grounded in impact, accountability, and local relevance. We are the implementers behind ambitious ideas.
Local Partnerships
Through our experience with Malta’s LEADER programme and national schemes, SEED works with local councils, NGOs, and grassroots groups to co-develop projects that serve community needs. We help translate vision into action - whether it's creating short supply chains for local food, restoring rural spaces, or setting up new cultural initiatives. Our team supports project structuring, partnership building, and funding readiness, ensuring smaller organisations can access public support and deliver measurable, lasting change.
Let’s Collaborate...
We don’t accept every project - and that’s intentional. SEED chooses to work only with organisations whose values align with ours. If you're committed to sustainability, community empowerment, and social equity, we’re interested in growing with you. Whether you’re a research body, NGO, or public entity, we’re open to meaningful collaborations built on trust, professionalism, and purpose. Reach out to explore how we can co-create something that truly makes a difference — together.
